Scanbio AS

Scanbio AS was established in 1984 in Bjugn, Norway.
The company is specialized in the production of fish protein concentrate, fish oil and fishmeal from preserved by-products (silage) and fresh raw materials.

Scanbio AS has four production plants in Norway:

  • Scanbio Bjugn AS, located in Bjugn, Norway
  • Scanbio Lysøysund AS, located in Lysøysund, Norway
  • Miljøprosess AS, located in Båtsfjord, Norway.
  • Scanbio K2 AS, located in Lysøysund, Norway.

The plants’ total production capacity is approx. 370 000 tons of raw material per year.
